Downtown Dallas |
We went to Mass at a church that had been built since we last visited, and it was very pretty After brunch with the family, we traveled into Dallas with Marcia to see the Perot Museum of Science. All of us enjoyed it, although Claire didn’t appreciate being quizzed on her recently passed Earth Science class as we wandered through the creation of the universe, rock formation, earthquakes, and plate science. They had some beautiful gems and crystals, interesting local natural science displays, fossils, and dinosaur skeletons. Claire enjoyed being able to be a weather girl, fly like an eagle in 3D, and create chaser patterns in dance. James and Claire both enjoyed mixing and creating music in the music studio. It was a fun museum. Dinner with the family again and then another beautiful night sitting out by the pool while Claire swam. Then we all watched a movie, “Warm Bodies.” Since I am not a fan of zombie movies, I thought it was disgusting in parts, but the dialogue is hysterical. Beautiful day.
