Day 3 ~ Travel Day from Nashville to Coppell (near) Dallas, Texas

We left early since we had a long day of travel ahead of us.  We passed through Memphis and into Arkansas.  It continued to rain until we were outside of Little Rock, Arkansas.  We were surprised to see rice fields in Arkansas, but they were interesting in their plow patterns.  We crossed the border into Texas, where they had beautiful painted bridges with the lone star painted on them for the first few miles.  The trip to Dallas went quickly from there.  My brother John and his wife Marcia and 2 of his children, Kelley and Davy, were very gracious hosts at their home in Coppell, TX.  We had a nice dinner at a Chinese restaurant, and then we sat outside and chatted while Claire swam in their beautiful pool.
